...And Life Goes On!

Halloween ended and we shifted back into (or stayed in!) high-gear for our normal week! Here are a few dance class shots from Tater's parents' night class. We got all the recital info and can't wait to see the costumes! The theme is "America" but you'll have to wait for more details!

Party #2, Costume #1...

So after the party at the children's museum, we raced home to changed into the costumes (not our trick-or-treat costumes...because anyone who knows my children knows that they never would have survived!).

Tater was a bride and Bruiser was a doctor (aspirations, I know!)

Sassy was a monkey (totally appropriate!)

and loved playing with one of the birthday boys, Baby F!

The best part of the costume was that the big belly made her top-heavy and she kept tumbling! Poor little monkey!

The Weekend That Went On FOREVER!!!!! (Part I)

Since when did Halloween become such an involved holiday? I mean, really! We were busy the ENTIRE weekend and I mean BUSY!

Although not really Halloween-related directly, Sassy had dance class Friday night and it was her birthday. Saturday started with Sassy's therapy group and then Tater had a Halloween party at a friend's house. We ended the day with a few errands and dinner out as we braced for the following day!

Sunday we Skyped with Papa and Mimi and then prepared for the whirlwind of events! We started with a birthday party at the local children's museum. We rarely go there because of Tater and her decreased immunities...indoor play area covered with children = GERMS!!!! But we stretched the rules for our special friend, Baby B...and everyone enjoyed themselves (and even Mommy relaxed a bit!).

Right now I'm heading to snuggle on the couch. After the busy weekend, I've had a equally busy start to the week and haven't sat down all day!

The Birthday Photo Roll!

Sassy had a great "2" day! She spent the morning with J, our sitter and one of her favorite people. Then she went to lunch with Mommy and to the store to buy a baby. After a quick visit to Tater's class to see some pumpkin carving, we headed to Sassy's dance class...in costume!

Then we headed home for dinner, presents, and cake with our friends!
