An Escape

We decided to take a break from the norm (and we all know what our norm looks like...ha!) and headed north to an indoor waterpark in the mountains!

This was the view from our room!

 And the best part of the room was the separate room for the littles!

They slept so well!

Our great friends came with us and enjoyed the weekend (and craziness!)

And Then She Turned 7!!!!

Somewhere along the line, Tater decided she was going to turn 7...whether we wanted her to or not!  Silly girl!

It was vacation week at the House of Sprout, so Daddy and I were able to treat Tater to a special big girl day.  We hired a sitter for the littles and took Tater to Newport for a grown-up lunch, a bit of grown-up shopping at Alex and Ani, and a guided tour of the Breakers mansion.  It was a real treat to spend time with just our oldest and give her our undivided attention!

Then we headed home for a real girly celebration, pink cake and all!
