I'm hoping to spend a lot of time doing this today! We had a full calendar of apple picking, a hay ride, and errands...but it's drippy and dreary so we will manage the errands and cuddle at home the rest of the day!
We had a low-key holiday weekend...so low-key I didn't even take any pictures! We did chores, rode bikes, watched a few movies, played hard and went to bed early :). 3 out of the 4 kids have fall colds so there has been a lot of sniffling, slime, and coughing...good times!
With a very full calendar for this month, I'm happy to have a slow, quiet day at home...even if I've already had to clean marker of furniture (thank God for the Magic Eraser and Crayola washable PipSqueaks!).
I wish we had a rain day. We sure could use one.
ReplyDeleteWe had a nasty bout of the stomach bug a few weeks ago, and it was exactly zero fun. I sure hope your kiddos recover from their colds quickly!
It was the perfect kind of rainy day...rained all morning and now the sun is shining! And I'd take colds over a tummy bug any day...yuck!!!!
