Bubba's Blessing Day

September 22nd was Bubba's baptism day and we were blessed with many family and friends that came to love on this very special little guy!

His big sisters and brother were his sponsors and promised to teach him all about God.

We've been through this experience...adding a new life to our life...four times!  Each time brought it's own joys and challenges, each shaped by our previous experiences.  With our first, we were overwhelmed and jumped  every gadget advertised to make life with this new creature perfect.  With each subsequent child, we tweaked and parred down our lists of must-haves.  There are many mothers out there that take on the minimalist view...all you need is Mommy, some clothes, diapers, and a place for the baby to sleep...that is not how I operate!  I strive for convenience!  And Babies"R"Us has been one place where I have been able to find all I need for just that!

Pretty great, huh?  Until you walk in and realize you have no idea where to start and what you need :).  There are plenty of registry lists to help guide you and they are helpful.  After 4 kids, I have my favorites and those favorites have shifted between the first and the last...so here a little peek into what I'm loving right now...

 

Sleeping

Each of our babies have had a crib and a pack'n'play but I've struggled to find just the right thing for when they are teeny tiny and just home from the hospital...until now.  We LOVE, L.O.V.E., our FP Rock'n'Play Sleeper! Perfectly angled and snuggly cozy, our littlest one has spent many a night snoozing away in it!

Diapering

We made a great shift with Baby #4 to cloth diapering!  And, even though it has not been without a few challenges, I'm loving it and Daddy is even on board.  The Bum Genius diaper sprayer is a life saver...just saying :)

Feeding


We are making our own baby food purees with the Baby Bullet Food System...amazing!  And the Boon Grass drying rack is something I could not live without!

And, finally...LIFE SAVING!!!


New-to-me this baby are the products by aden + anais.  We have swaddle blankets, sleep sacks, bibs, burp clothes, lovies...LOVE!  (And a side note...their customer service is top-notch!!!!)
